Ziggy
Adopted
Ziggy has been adopted!
Adopted: Ziggy has found his forever home. We wish him the very best life possible.
Meet the amazing Ziggy! This beautiful boy is about as sweet as they come. He’s also gorgeous. We think he’s about 4, and weighs 52 pounds. Being blind and a shelter stray, he had little hope of adoption. Now in foster care, he’s learning his way around, mapping the house and yard and loving his leash walks. The eye specialist says his type of blindness is probably genetic. He needs no treatment and has adapted well. Ziggy is neutered, house trained, good with dogs and people (cats unknown), up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Here is what this lovely dog can offer: LOVE, AFFECTION, COMPANIONSHIP! A buddy for leash walks, hikes, car rides, helping in the house or garden, or just chilling out by your side. Good manners. A great conversation starter – he is stunning and catches everyone’s eye. A pal for your friendly dog. Here’s what he needs: LOVE, AFFECTION, COMPANIONSHIP. A fairly predictable environment. Not too many stairs. A physical fence. Probably no frail senior humans with balance or vision problems or very young erratic ones (furniture and walls stay put – humans move around. He could trip the former and step on or knock over the latter). A few days of time and patience to help him map his surroundings. In that sort of environment, he will do great!
