Biography: * Born on March 5, 2020
* We bought him as a 8 week old collie from a breeder of farm dogs in North Charlotte region.
* He has been with us since the beginning.
* He is a good, super smart and highly active dog.
* He was fixed as a 9-10 month old pup by our vet, Dr Adam McGarity in Fort Mill (Mill Town Vet). Dr McGarity says that he is “movie star quality” as far as his border collie look.
* He has always been up to date on all shots and we have records of everything.
* His most recent vet visit was in May for his annual tests and vaccinations.
* He has been on heart worm, flea and tick preventative each month of his life.
* His fur seems to be naturally clean and does not have dander or greasy, unclean, etc.
* He is mostly leash walked but has often been off-leash and does not venture far away.
* He knows a ton of commands and words and is obedient. He knows the following commands: sit, stay, down, come, shake, find it, leave it, wait, back up, speak, speak gentle, move to the right (when walking), knows left and right from your perspective (when playing with balls, or finding something).
* He desires constant directions and prompts.
* He is obsessed with fetching a ball of any kind and enjoys this activity immensely.
* He is also obsessed with trash bags and trying to “help” take out the trash.
* He also wants to go with you everywhere and gets anxious (or upset, barking) when we leave the house without him.
* Even though he wants to go with you, he often seems to not enjoy a car ride, drooling and does not put his head out of a window.
* He gets groomed about every 2-3 months at a professional groomer who he “loves” and does very well with.
* He does bark strongly at strangers, people rides bikes or scooters, mailmen, and people in uniform.
* He seems to love about 12-15 people.
* Ever since our adult daughter and her golden doodle puppy (Charlie) moved in with us, Wesley and Charlie have frequently gotten into fights. This happens about every 2 months. It has always been fairly minimal and we have always been able to break it up without injuries to dogs or humans.
•Recently, it was difficult to break up the fight, and our daughter ended up with puncture wounds and bruises from breaking up the fight.
• He is also thunder phobic and wants to be near you during thunder.

Does the dog have any medical issues? No

Does the dog have any history of aggression such as growling, lunging, snapping or biting any adult or child? Yes. If startled, he will lunge and growl. He also nips at my legs in an attempt to herd.

Does the dog have any history of aggression toward other animals? Yes. He has gotten into fights with both of our dogs in our home.

Reason for re-homing? Wesley would do best in a one-dog home or on a farm where we can take care of animals or be of a working dog help to the farm. His herding instincts and very high energy is making his life in our home too difficult.
