Tulva
Adopted
Tulva has been adopted!
Adopted: Tulva has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.
Tulva is ready for her forever home. She has been with her foster mom for 6 weeks and everyday has been a joy. During that time, she has dropped excess weight and built up adequate muscle mass after having been confined to a crate for 6 years.
This little girl is a sweetheart, carries a long gorgeous coat and is 6.5 years old. She wants to be everyone’s friend and makes it her business to do so. She politely greets visitors and asks for a kind pet in the process. She bonds firmly with her people and is guaranteed to be their quiet shadow throughout the day. She loves pets and attention, and who could resist?
Tulva is not the typical high energy, drive and intense Border Collie her foster mom is accustomed to. Instead, her personality is much more subdued. But with that being said, just like all dogs, needs plenty of exercise. She loves to break out into a full fun at times, especially if she sees her person from afar…she just can’t get to them fast enough! Tulva never had toys to play with and subsequently has not played with any available to her. But she will gladly chew on a cow hoof or a real bone (which has done wonders for her teeth). Nor has she learned to chase a ball or frisbee, although no fault of her’s as her ADHD Border Collie friends her never let her have the chance. Tulva’s favorite activity is to explore, especially in the woods. And she wants you to be there while she explores, she will keep an eye on you to make sure you don’t run off.
Tulva does get along with other dogs. She is said to be fine with cats and children (NOT confirmed and I am assuming that means older children vs young children since she is Border Collie). She is not fond of thunder and wants to be inside lying beside the couch. Other loud noises do not bother her.
She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Tulva is also house trained and walks on a leash.
