Adopted: Sophie has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.

Sophie is an active, curious girl with a lot of energy. She was not socialized properly as a puppy and is shy and reserved when meeting new people but it only takes her a minute or two to warm up to them. She is very sweet and loving once she gets to know someone. She loves toys and tends to collect them all in her crate. She has met many different dogs with all kinds of characters and has been fine with all of them and will play with anyone who is willing. She is submissive to the foster family’s bossy female. She will chase cats outside and is very curious but not aggressive with cats in the house. Sophie has a lot to learn: not to chew on inappropriate things like shoes, not to jump up on the counter to steal food and to master all the basic commands. She is a willing student and very food motivated which should make training pretty easy. Sophie is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate all night. She will complain for a minute when left in the crate during the day as she would much rather be a part of the action but she quiets down quickly. Sophie will be a fun dog for any sports activity of as a hiking/running buddy.
