Adopted: Peggy has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.

This sweet and petite lady was found as a stray by Cumberland County Animal Control. We can’t believe no one ever came to claim her! She is exuberant, happy, playful, and a superb cuddle bug. She is still a puppy at 10 months old and as such must be supervised around your fancy tasseled pillows! She rides well in the car, naps in her crate during the day, and is getting better about falling asleep at bed time. She gets along fabulously with her foster dog brother and sister, is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is learning, slowly but surely, not to jump on people for pettings! She has only interacted with cats through baby gates, but given her sweet and calm disposition, we don’t anticipate there being a problem.

Peggy loves to hang out on her favorite dog-friendly patios, chew goat horns on the couch near her people, and go for walks around town and on the trail!

Peggy would do best in a home where she could be with her people all the time and have another sweet dog to pal around with.
