Neeva

We think everybody needs a Neeva in their lives! Neeva was picked up by animal control as a stray and no one came to claim her. Their loss, our gain! Neeva is an amazing little dog. She is not a Border Collie but a smaller sized Mix with a short tail that wags almost constantly. She loves people and other dogs, but can be a little cautious before she fully embraces a new person. She gets along fabulously with the resident cat and would love to play and chase but also respects the pointy end of the cat and backs away when asked. Neeva is a very cuddly little dog, her favorite way to end the day is to lay on someone’s lap upside down and getting her belly rubbed. Neeva loves to take car rides and walks, and does quite well on a leash. She tends to be a little afraid of cars going by but is improving as she sees more of the world. Neeva would do well with an active family and ideally a playful dog companion. She could absolutely perform well in sports like agility as she is quick on her legs, learns fast and is very treat and toy motivated. But she would also be happy with daily walks and play time and lots of loving attention. A fenced in yard is a must as she likes to explore the outdoors.
