Molly
Adopted
Molly has been adopted!
Adopted: Molly has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.
Molly is a lady! She has excellent manners, is sweet, calm, affectionate and friendly. Molly’s devoted owner, who’d had her since she was a puppy, passed away unexpectedly in December and Molly was heartbroken. The owner’s family found a lovely boarding kennel for her while searching for a rescue that could help find just the right home. Unlike many rescue dogs, this beautiful purebred Border Collie has been well loved and cared for all her life. Now 12, she is spayed, up to date on shots and preventatives, microchipped and very healthy except for a little arthritis (no meds required at this time). She weighs 52 pounds and could lose five or six. Molly walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, loves people, gets along with other dogs (cats unknown), and more than anything, loves to trot around the yard, exploring her kingdom. All she really needs now is a new home and someone to share her retirement years! Because she is an older girl, she’d probably be happiest living with adults or older children or with mellow canine friends and since she does love exploring outdoors, a physical fence is preferred. If you have room in your home and heart for a gentle dog who just wants someone to love her, please consider Miss Molly!
