Adopted: Misty has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.

Misty (formerly Lexi) is a perfect little lady! She’s been the loveliest house guest ever, and made herself at home immediately. A stray in a rural shelter, no one came for her. This little girl has been loved and valued by someone. She behaves beautifully indoors and out – is house trained, calm and quiet, affectionate, and gentle She enjoys leash walks and car rides, is friendly and easygoing with her canine housemate and with all people. Misty’s happy to relax at home when left alone, but welcomes her humans with delight when they return. Her favorite activity is squirrel-monitoring (watches them through the glass door to the deck), She’d probably chase a cat, so a cat-free home is best.

Misty must complete a course of antibiotics for a tick borne illness before she can be spayed, so will not be ready for adoption until mid to late April. She is otherwise healthy, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on preventatives, parasite free and microchipped. She is believed to be two to three years old and weighs 31 pounds.

This beautiful little dog will make a devoted companion for some lucky person or family.
