Margot
Adopted
Margot has been adopted!
Adopted: Margot has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.
Meet Margot! She is approximately 4 years old and is super affectionate and goofy. She loves squeaky toys, long walks, chasing goats, car rides, and snuggles. She knows sit, down and can nose touch. She does well in her crate when her foster mom is not home, but is still working on entering it on cue. She is a fast learner and is picking up on what is appropriate inside behavior (it is very hard not to put her paws on the counter when food is up there). She is house trained and has had no accidents inside. She walks very well on leash and loves to go hiking or for a walk around town.
Margot is currently living in the countryside in the surrounding Asheville area. She has a yard to run and play in and has displayed a reliable recall when off leash (and not busy “working” chasing the goats back over to the correct pasture). She really loves to be near her people. She loves to play with humans and is still learning how to be gentle with tug toys. If she isn’t playing with her humans, she will happily entertain herself by tossing her toys herself, chewing on bones, or snuggling in real close.
Margot can be intense when she meets other dogs, but gets along with dogs who forgive her awkwardness. She is living with her little foster brother and has been around other smaller dogs, but definitely needs them to let her know they are not things to be herded. A home with a cat would probably not be her ideal home.
She is super sweet and is sure to make you laugh!
