Adopted: Mandy has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.

Mandy is estimated to be 7-9 months old and is as sweet as can be. We think she is a Border Collie Mix but does not display a lot of Border Collie behaviors. Mandy is a gentle soul and can be timid at first but warms up quickly. She loves to play, go on walks, and is learning to chew on appropriate things like bones and toys rather than our shoes. Mandy gets along with all dogs in her foster home, plays very well with all of them and is happy not to be the alpha dog. Although she loves to run and play she settles down nicely when back in the house, she is happiest when she can nap close to her people. Mandy needs further training to get used to spend time alone without whining, although she has already made a lot of progress since arriving at her foster home. Despite her attachment to her people Mandy likes to wander off when not supervised and will need a fenced-in yard. Mandy was happy to meet visiting children and did great with them. We have not witnessed her behavior with cats but given her gentle nature she will probably get along with them just fine. If you are looking for a sweet, gentle Border Collie mix who is active but not overly energetic and small in stature, Mandy may be your girl!
