Little Man is a roughly 1 1/2 year old border collie mix. He was picked up in Catawba county and taken to the shelter. We don’t know what life was like for him before that. Little Man looks like a border collie, but is a smaller guy at about 28 lbs. He is a lively, happy boy who loves to snuggle.
Little Man is housebroken, is great about getting into his crate, and does well in the car. He has great food drive, a big plus for training. After just a few weeks, he is learning basic commands, and catching on to our routines. Once he is introduced, Little Man is quick to warm up to people. He loves to play fetch or tug of war, and he looks forward to walks in the woods. Additionally, Little Man loves to curl up with people to relax.
While he is not as intense as some border collies, he would do best with a relatively active home, and space to play. Little Man desperately wants to rough house with our dog, who is older, and not so interested. We have not seen him around small children or cats. However, Little Man’s general disposition is very social, fun loving, and he wants to please.
