CBCR courtesy lists dogs for individual owners, other rescues, and shelters wishing to place their Border Collies or Border Collie-mixes themselves. These dogs are not in the CBCR program. Biography: Koda is a young male Border Collie with a friendly, people-oriented personality. He’s highly trainable, eager to please, and good with kids. He gets along well with other dogs, reads boundaries appropriately, and is not aggressive. Like most Border Collies his age, he has high energy and thrives with structure, consistency, and purposeful activity. He has not had advanced formal training yet due to time constraints, not behavioral issues.

Reason for re-homing? Koda is very active and intelligent and needs more structure, time, and engagement than I’m currently able to provide. He would do best in a home that can fully meet his physical and mental needs and continue developing his potential.
