Ginger and Skipper
Adopted
Ginger and Skipper has been adopted!
Happy campers, Ginger and Skipper’s idea of a perfect forever home is to have humans to adore and a yard full of squirrels for entertainment. They are middle-age BC x Aussie mixes, and weigh around 45 lbs each. The rough coated, classically marked brown and white one is Ginger and her brother, Skipper is the brown tricolor. Both are house trained, crate trained and can walk on a leash, but would rather be off leash in a safe area (the better for chasing squirrels) and have a nice recall.
Ginger and Skipper are siblings from two different litters. DNA analysis show that they share the same parents, however, the amount of wear on their teeth indicate that they are of different ages. Ginger is the oldest and acts very much like an older sister. When the going gets rough, Skipper looks to her for reassurance.
The time we have been waiting for is here! Ginger and Skipper have completed heart-worm treatment and recovery, and are now available for adoption. I would like to adopt them out to a home where they can stay together.
Ginger and Skipper are being fostered near Pittsboro, NC. For more information about these two amiable dogs, contact foster mom at dolly_watson@hotmail.com.
