Gillie
Gilligan, Gillie for short, came to CBCR from eastern North Carolina and he has been stealing hearts every since. Gillie is a typical puppy who loves to get into mischief, run, play, fetch, chew whenever he can. He can be a little scared at first but warms up very quickly. Once he establishes you as one of his “people”, he will want to spend most of his time in your lap or being carried around like a baby. He is a happy little guy and is still working on some of his big boy manners, like no jumping.
Gillie is great in the crate and will even put himself to sleep at night in his crate if you leave the door open for him. Gillie loves to adventure in public and hang out on the patio for either a drink or supper. He also loves other dogs and plays very nicely with his foster brother and sister. He is even a good sharer and will willingly let his foster brother or sister borrow his bone for awhile.?
Gillie is UTD on all shots and has not been neutered yet, per CBCR policy to not neuter before 6 months, so his forever home will be responsible for getting him neutered. He is currently losing his little baby teeth so we always have lots of good things around for him to chew on, like bones and kongs. He lovessss to eat ice right now too, as the ice feels good on his loose teeth. Gillie is a pro on the leash, he goes for a walk in the morning, afternoon and after work usually. He also plays nicely in the yard and would be excellent off leash because he is very attached to his people.
