Adopted:   Dash has found his forever home. We wish him the very best life possible.

Dash is a very sweet young fellow who enjoys walking around with his squeaky chicken and sitting on somebody’s lap for pets and snuggles most of the time. He is laid back in nature but loves to play and go for walks outside. Dash has not been socialized properly as a puppy and has a lot to learn. He feels threatened by new dogs he meets and tends to bark at them and run after them. Once he meets them and gets to know them he calms down and acts appropriately. He is just starting to play tug with one of the adult dogs in his foster family. Dash loves people but is shy at first when meeting them. He is easily frightened by loud noises or anything he has not encountered before (which is the majority of things) but gets over it pretty quickly. He has not had a single accident at this foster home and sleeps soundly in his crate at night (although I am sure he would prefer to sleep snuggled up to his person in bed :-). He walks ok on the leash and without a leash he pretty much stays by our side in our fenced in yard. Dash will need a patient new owner who teaches him about the big world around him and gives him lots of hugs and pets along the way. Preference will be given to applicants with a fenced in yard (no invisible fencing).
