About Cooper Joe:

Cooper Joe, aka Joey, is a very handsome 3 yr. old male. He is a tricolor border collie and has an athletic build. He loves his toys, he is very active, and will do best with a outdoorsy family. He loves meeting people and exploring. Joey is good with dog-savvy cats. He is nervous when meeting new dogs but gets along well after settling in with them.

He is up to date with all his vaccinations. His parents were very remorseful about having to relinquish him back to CBCR, but he was just too energetic for them, as they entered their senior years. He has had a happy life and is hoping for another loving family to be his forever home.

Joey does have a problem riding in a moving vehicle. He gets an upset stomach, even for short trips. We have managed to avoid that with homeopathic anxiety drops and will be trying a thunder shirt also.

Cooper Joe is house trained, crate trained and does well on a leash. He likes to stretch out on the floor under a ceiling fan to take a nap.
