Cassie

Cassie (formerly Sydney) is 11 months old, heartworm negative, up to date on Vaccines/microchipped and will be spayed soon before she’s adopted. Cassie is very friendly and loves people. She’s quite the cuddle bug and follows her people around wanting to go wherever they go. She will even try to hug people with her paws but for the most part she Sits to be petted when meeting new people and isn’t a jumper. She’s house broke, crate trained, likes other dogs and does well with cats.

Cassie will play with my dogs and plays well with them but she has one issue. Cassie is food aggressive with other dogs only. Not food aggressive towards people. I crate her when I am going to feed everyone and pick up all uneaten food to prevent any issues. Cassie can be trained to eliminate this behavior with time and patience. She is very receptive to a firm “No” when she gives another dog the eye. She’s very smart and easy to train. She is a very mellow, easy and fun dog to foster. She will need an experienced owner if other dogs live in the home to work on her food aggression. She will also be fine as an only dog as well.
