Adopted – Bonnie has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.

Bonnie is a 6 month old puppy that until we received her, had never been inside or socialized in any way. She can be timid at first and new noises startle her, but she is quick to warm up to anyone who shows her affection. She does not stand down from dogs 2 -4x her size, however, so she should not be mixed in with any extreme Alpha dogs. She gets along great with my dogs, and has been introduced to children 8-10 with no problems or nips. She is learning the ropes regarding treats and crating at night, and has no accidents in the house in the two weeks I have had her. She will steal your spot wherever you choose to be sitting and will hoard every toy in the house, even being brazen enough to take it carefully from the mouth of whatever dog is playing with it. She is starting to teethe, so be sure to have a toy that will satisfy her urge to chew.

Bonnie will do very well in a home that can be patient with her. She is very quick to pick up on the household routines and noises and smartly watches everything with her wise grey eyes. She loves to snuggle close and be with her person and even enjoys being toted about. She will not be a large adult border collie, but will probably remain under 35 pounds. She is vaccinated and microchipped but will need to be spayed around the springtime.
